The software control system is a fundamental part of a modern production system. It represents the machine-user interface and is designed to meet the increasingly complex processes of machines and systems.
- SCADA systems
- Production Management Systems
- Integration with Enterprise Resource Planners (ERP)
Designed for production control, it provides communication with field devices (CPUs) and controls the production process automatically. It provides and manages the information generated: supervision, quality control, production control, data storage, traceability… Sotecontrol has been working with SCADAS for more than 17 years, and we have been adapting to a constant evolution (we have grown with these systems), both in software and in the needs of the industry. Time has already left those SCADAS systems that were dedicated to a specific task of machine control in the background, to progress to distributed systems from which an entire production plant is supervised.. Production Management Systems At Sotecontrol we design specialized software for the control of processes and installations. It is a layer above the SCADA system that allows obtaining and representing information from the production system, and interacting with it in a more appropriate and closer environment. Among the many functions that these systems can perform are:
- Reception of raw materials and weighing
- Sending order from management to production
- Formulación
- Labeled
- Traceability
- Production control
- Stock Control
Integration with Enterprise Resource Planners (ERP) All the systems that make up a production process must be integrated. Regardless of the system, manufacturer or task to be performed, communication between systems must be fluid, complete and in real time. Sotecontrol integrates SCADAS and Management Systems with the most common ERPs, such as SAP, AS/400, BaaN or through any standard protocol: CSV, SGBD, COM.
